Students gathered at L.R. Government High School and took out a procession towards Boro Bazar via Natun Bazar of the upazila around 1 PM. As the number of students increased, and the demonstrators attempted to pass in front of the police station, the police stationed in the local Eidgah area fired rubber bullets, tear gas shells, and sound grenades. During this time, Anas Ahmed was shot and martyred.

Short Biography:
Anas Ahmed, son of Abul Hossain from Khondokar Moholla in Baniachang Upazila, Habiganj District, was a student at Baniachang Adarsha High School.
