While participating in the anti-discrimination movement, he was seriously injured in the shooting of two men at Mirpur-10 on the afternoon of August 4. He was admitted to Bangladesh Neuroscience Hospital in injured condition. After 03 days of treatment, the doctor declared him dead on August 7.
