Ahad, a 4-year-old child, was shot in the right eye while standing on the balcony of his house in the Rayerbag area of Jatrabari of the capital on Friday, July 19 around 4 pm. The bullet entered the right eye and remained inside the head. Ahad was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He was placed on life support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The next day, Ahad was declared dead in the ICU at around 8:30 pm on Saturday. – Source: Prothom Alo
