Instructed BCL members to beat general students and seen saying, “will shoot and kill you” at Uttara on July 33, 2024
On August 2nd, 2024, while students were protesting in various parts of Uttara, a particular footage went viral. In this video, students are seen conversing with what appear to be members of the Bangladesh Chatro League (BCL). The leader of the group, identified on social media as Abdur Razzak Jewel, the Founder and Vice President of Uttara West Chatro League. The students tell them they are from Milestone College and BCL members are beating them with sticks. At this point, Jewel is seen visually agitated and tell the student to not talk too much and says, “Guli koira pore maira falamu”
Many other countless videos have surfaced online where BCL members are seen beating and even shooting at protesters in the Uttara area.
