He was allegedly killed by police during anti-discrimination protests in Jatrabari, Dhaka. The case was initiated by Farid Sheikh’s father, Sultan Miah, and the court has directed the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to look into it.

2. Shooting of Students in Sylhet: Sheikh Rehana, together with 86 others including Sheikh Hasina, is implicated in a case related to the shooting of students during a protest in Sylhet. Filed by Juber Ahmad, the case alleges that these individuals, along with several unidentified people, were involved in firing at a peaceful student demonstration, leading to injuries and deaths.

3. Alleged Misappropriation of Funds: Former advisor Salman F Rahman has alleged that Sheikh Rehana and Sheikh Hasina’s son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, received half of the estimated 150,000 crore taka smuggled out of Bangladesh by businessman S Alam. Rahman claims that these funds were part of a larger corruption scheme involving new projects and large commissions. He also alleges that Sheikh Hasina was aware of these activities but did not oppose them.
